Welcome!
Gingacon is an annual convention with a focus on manga, anime, and animal stories, arranged by Suomen Hopeanuoli-fanit ry (Finnish Ginga Fan Association).
The next Gingacon will be held in Järvenpää-talo, Järvenpää, Finland on 2nd of November, 2019.
Arrival
Järvenpää-talo's address is Hallintokatu 4. Please use the door next to their library.
From Railway Station:
Järvenpää-talo is visible from the railway station, navigating to it should be easy.
By Car:
Järvenpää-talo is easily accessed from Lahti's highway.
Tickets
A wristband costs 12,50 € and can be bought from websites mentioned below, and from other conventions where Suomen Hopeanuoli-fanit ry has a booth. Remaining wristbands are also sold directly at Gingacon's entrance.
Tickets bought from Lippu.fi will be exchanged for wristbands at the entrance. Codes bought from Hopeapuoti will be exchanged for wristbands at the convention's info booth.
Members of Suomen Hopeanuoli-fanit ry can buy tickets from Hopeapuoti, from the club's convention booths, or directly from Gingacon's door at a reduced price.
Mascots
Gingacon has two mascots: Ketku and Aiko.
The silver fox Ketku has been our mascot since the very first Gingacon in 2016. He was created by Nara Uusihanni.
The girl named Aiko has been Gingacon's secondary mascot since 2018. She was created by Sanna Luhta.
Ketku and Aiko can be found in Gingacon's advertisements, program booklets, and merchandise.
